(202) 307-3069 Residential Secure Juvenile Detention Services. Concerns
having the ability for providing residential secure juvenile detention
services for male and female Federal juvenile offenders. Those
interested are requested to give written notification (including
telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office
listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody,
control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to
include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the
expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The
services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons'
Statement of Work. This is an indefinite quantity, firm-fixed
requirements type contract. Location of the facility shall be in the
Northeast Region of the United States (to include Pennsylvania, New
York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont,
New Hampshire and Maine). Estimated number of inmate days is 3,650
minimum/7,300 maximum for one-year base period and for option years
one, two, three, and four, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is
o/a May 19, 2000. Estimated closing date is July 20, 2000. Contract
base period is one year with four one-year options to renew. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
