Concerns having the ability for providing a correctional facility (CSC) for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. This is a firm-fixed requirements type contract. Location of the facility shall be in the Northern, New Jersey area, to include Counties: Essex, Morris, Somerset, Union, Bergen, Middlesex, Hudson, and Passaic. Estimated number of inmate days is 61,393 for two-year base period and 32,410, 33,608, and 34,852 inmate days for option years one, two and three, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a May 19, 2000. Estimated closing date is July 18, 2000. Contract base period is two years with three one-year options to renew.
