Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform
drydocking and repairs including but not limited to the following base
and option items: Base Items: (1) Renew Bulkhead Plating Between
Battery Space and Aft Berthing, (2) Inspect and Renew Skeg Top Plate in
Engine Room, (3)Remove and Disposal of Diesel Fuel, (4) Remove and
Dispose of Oil and Oily Water, (5) Clean and Inspect Tanks, (6) Clean,
Inspect, and Disinfect Potable Water Tank(s), (7) Clean and Inspect
Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tank(s), (8) Inspect
Bronze Sleeves in Various Shaft Packing Areas, (9) Remove, Inspect, and
Reinstall Propeller Shaft, (10) Perform Stern Tube/Strut Alignment
Inspection, (11) Renew Water-Lubricated Propeller Shaft Bearings, (12)
Realign Shaft Strut, (13) Remove and Reinstall Propellers, (14)Remove
and Install Propellers, (15) Inspect MDE Exhaust, (16) Preserve
Transducer Ring and Renew the V850 Transducer, (17) Improve Ship's
Ventilation, (18) Overhaul, Renew Test Valves, (19) Inspect and
Overhaul Duplex Sea Strainers, (20) Remove and Install Rudders, (21)
Overhaul Stabilizing Fins, (22) Preserve Forepeak Compartment, (23)

(16) Laydays. Vessel's homeport in Portsmouth, Virginia. Vessel length
is 110 Foot "B" Class Patrol Boat. Vessel's minimum depth of water is
12 feet. Vessel's availability is for forty-two (42) days, starting 14
August 2000. All reference documents are available for viewing at 300
East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. A non-refundable
charge of $150.00 is required, in the form of certified check or money
order payable to the U.S. Coast Guard, for requested drawings. Drawing
are now available on CD-Rom. The CD-Rom sets are available for all
cutters and will be free of charge to contractors upon request. This
procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration
Program. All Businesses, large and small, are encourages, to submit
bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or about May 5, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a
bid, which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
