Interested sources are sought for base operating support services at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA and its Detachment located at Fallbrook, CA. The services, which are currently provided by government personnel, were announced for commercial activity cost comparison study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. Services include: Facilities operation, maintenance and repair; transportation support services, BQ operations and maintenance, administrative services; NAVOSH program support; environmental, natural resources programs; contingency preparedness; and ordnance handling operations. The contract type will be a combination fixed price/indefinite quantity with award fee provisions. The contract term will consist of a three-month phase in, base year and four option years. Performance is estimated to begin on 1 Oct 01. Interested parties are invited to access, review and comment on the Draft Performance Work Statement located on the FISC San Diego web page (http://www.sd.fisc.navy.mil). Interested parties are reminded that the draft PWS is a working document and is subject to revision before issuance of the solicitation.
