X -- LEASE OF FACILITY This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Item prepared in accordance with information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcment constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is RQ120000012 and is issued as a Request for Quote(RFQ). The Quote should be the standard product literature including the cost, in accordance with commercial item procedures. This procurement is unrestricted and is being advertised as full and open competition. The contractor shall provide: One 24 X 44 (1056 square feet)modular building. Interior requirements: Carpeting, all relevant lighting, Drywall, HVAC, Office Space(approx. 11'x6" X 11'3" =130 SF, Storage (approx. 11'6" X 11'3" = 130 SF, retail sales area (16' x 22' = 352 SF), auxillary retail space (approx. 11' x 14' = 154 SF), separate men's and women's restrooms including common entry hall with vanity, sink,and janitorial closet (approx. 11' x 14' = 154 SF, restroom total). NOTE: Restroom access from the inside needs to be lockable, double-storefront main entry doors, rear restroom entry door, Windows as follows: Office (2), Retail & Auxillary Sales Spaces (4). ENTIRE STRUCTURE MUST BE ADA-AMERICAN DISABILITIES ACT COMPLIANT/ACCESSIBLE. ENTRY RAMP AND DECKING WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE. Exterior Requirements: Paintable wood siding, skirting to enclose the entire underside. Delivery/Setup/Teardown: Quote shall include all itemized costs associated with delivery, setup and removal (teardown). This will be a Contract for Lease with option periods to extend for approximately 36 months. It will be Lease with no option to purchase. This modular building must be on-site on or before June 12, 2000. Standard Industrial Classification Code 1542 applies.
