DIALOG INTRANET TOOLKIT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The EPA intends to place a sole source purchase order with The Dialog Corporation, 1525 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 650, Arlington, VA 22209 for a Dialog Intranet Toolkit (1000 concurrent users license), Empower Plus set up, installation and training on the Intranet Toolkit. The Dialog Corporation will provide EPA desktop access to the Dialog Intranet Toolkit and unlimited access to 300 Dialog databases, and 50,000 sources including full-text journals such as Inside EPA and Science via the Internet to four umbrella EPA Internet Protocols (IP) address. This service provides not only scientific information but management information as well. Databases available in this service range from Scientific, EI Compendex, Pollution Abstracts, Agricola, and Water Resource Abstracts to support administratively and regulatory function such as Commerce Business Daily, Business & Industry and Edgar Plus.
