Amended to reflect changes in the region, type of aircraft required, quantities, period of performance, and estimated closing date as follows: Air ambulance service on an "as required" basis within the Southwestern region of the CONUS (Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana) utilizing contractor-furnished, fixed wing aircraft. Additional air ambulance services outside of the primary region, within the CONUS could be required. Services in the primary region require an estimated 15,000 GCSM and 85 patient care hours per year. Services outside of the primary region require an estimated 10,000 GCSM and 62 patient care hours per year. Period of performance is for one (1) year with two (2) one-year options under FAR 52.219-9, and an option to extend service not more than six (6) months under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8.
