astoor@fs.fed.us. The project consists of improving 35 miles of the
Greys River Road. The base bid will be the first 25 miles of road.
There will be two 5-mile additive bid sections. The work includes
widening, where needed, to a 25-foot subgrade width and gravel
surfacing the road to obtain a uniform 22-foot wide top of 6-inch thick
gravel surfacing; culvert installation; installation of two
cattleguards; retaining walls; riprap slope protection; repair slumps
and install underdrain systems; dust abatement application; and sign
installation. The project is located in Lincoln County, Wyoming. It
begins at the Forest boundary near Alpine, Wyoming. Est. start date is
July 10, 2000. Desired completion date is November 17, 2000 with
incentive of $100,000.00 for meeting that date, or contract completion
of July 31, 2001 with no incentive earned. A pre-bid meeting is
scheduled on Friday, May 26, 2000 at 10:00 AM. Meet at the Forest
boundary parking lot on Greys River Road, approx. 3/4 miles southeast
of Alpine, Wyoming. The est. price range is between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000. This project is under the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program, which is not set-aside for small business. The
anticipated solicitation issue date is May 12, 2000. This project is
being administered by the SW Idaho/Negvada Acquisition Office in Boise,
