The base bid will be the first 25 miles of road. There will be two 5-mile additive bid sections. The work includes widening, where needed, to a 25-foot subgrade width and gravel surfacing the road to obtain a uniform 22-foot wide top of 6-inch thick gravel surfacing; culvert installation; installation of two cattleguards; retaining walls; riprap slope protection; repair slumps and install underdrain systems; dust abatement application; and sign installation. The project is located in Lincoln County, Wyoming. It begins at the Forest boundary near Alpine, Wyoming. Est. start date is July 10, 2000. Desired completion date is November 17, 2000 with incentive of $100,000.00 for meeting that date, or contract completion of July 31, 2001 with no incentive earned.
