SOL DACW51-00-B-0011 DUE 062000 POC Anne Spiegelberg (212)264-9003 This project consists of deepening of the existing 40 feet below MLW Elizabeth Channel to a depth of 47 feet below MLV from the western part of Newark Bay Channel to the end of Elizabeth Channel for length of approximately 7,700 feet and varying widths of 500 feet to 800 feet. The project area is located in Port Elizabeth Channel. The project consists of the dredging and disposal of non-rock and entire drilling, blasting, dredging and disposal of rock materials. The scope of work also includes the sampling testing of subsurface materials at various locations. The dredged rock will be placed at the Sandy Hook Artificial Reef Site, New Jersey State. Completion time for this project is 320 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range is $15,000,000.00 to $30,000,000.00. The SIC CODE for this project is 1629.
