THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. Work consists of fabrication, painting, delivery, and installation of a heavy steel stairway system. The stairway will access 75 vertical feet of the upstream face of Dworshak Dam and be anchored to the dam face with concrete anchors. Stairway consists of stair sections, landings, and handrails. Stair treads and landing walkways will be steel bar gratings. Steel to be coated by painting and by galvanizing. The entire installed stairway will be submerged when the reservoir is full. The stairway will be installed in the dry when the reservoir water elevation is down during the normal reservoir draw down period, which is mid winter through mid spring. The estimated cost range for this job is between $100,000 and $250,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629.
