commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are
being requested and a written request will not be issued. This
requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under SIC code 3721.
Solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are
current through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. Statement of work
includes structure repair of two (2) each CH-47D (Chinook Helicopters).
Specific repair of structural members on the following aircraft: 210-
Boron repair of spar disbonding at FS 255, BL 0, 226-Boron repair of
spar disbonding at FS 240, BL 10L, 226- Boron repair of corrosion at FS
250 fwd cargo hook beam, 290- Boron repair of spar disbonding at FS
400, BL 10L. The aircraft will be in a "ready to work" state before the
contractor arrives on site, and the government will be responsible for
reassembly after completion of the repairs. Any additional damage
found during disassembly/repair should be reported and is not a part of
this scope. Vendor to submit firm fixed price proposal for the repair.
Vendor must submit technical documentation certifying ability to
repair CH-47D (Chinook Helicopters). The technical documentation should
provide sufficient technical data in order for the project office to
determine that the offeror is capable of providing the repairs.
Additionally, vendor to submit 3 references showing ability to complete
this type work. References should include name of business, POC, and
phone number. Selection will be a best value selection based on
technical, past performance, and price. Prevailing wage rates are
applicable. Include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3.
FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this
acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- -Commercial Items apply to
this acquisition. FAR 52.222-21, DFARS 252.225-7007, FAR 52.222-26, FAR
