This is the standing solicitation for Federal Supply Schedule FSC
Group 84, Part II, Section B, from which the Government contemplates
award of contracts for the supplies listed in the Schedule of Items.
This solicitation replaces the solicitation issued October 8, 1999.
Resulting contract will be FOB destination to the 48 contiguous United
States and Washington, DC. This solicitation will remain in effect
unless amended or replaced by an updated solicitation. THERE IS NO
CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS; therefore, offers may be submitted
for consideration at any time during the life of this solicitation.
The schedule period will be continuous and will contain contracts with
periods that commence on the 1st day of the month following the award
and expire five years (exclusive of options) from the effective date.
Offers will be accepted for brands identical to those currently
awarded. Contracts will be in effect for five years from date of award,
unless further extended pursuant to any Option to Extend the Term of
the Contract or canceled sooner. All contracts will be indefinite
delivery -- indefinite quantity contracts with a $100 guaranteed
minimum. Various clauses, including Clause I-FSS-599 Electronic
Commerce-FACNET which implements GSA Advantage! (GSA's on-line shopping
program), Clause I-FSS-125 Requirements Exceeding the Maximum Order
(and related clauses which implement the new maximum order provision),
are included. The following SINs are included: 633-42, Introduction of
New Products, 633-38, NFPA 1977 certified shirts and pants (bdus),
633-39, non-NFPA certified flame resistant shirts, pants, coats,
jackets, jumpsuits; 633-43 Safety Helmets, Wildland NFPA 1977
certified; 633-44 Chainsaw Chaps, 633-45 Safety Helmets. All contracts
will include Industrial Funding provisions. See Note 12 (Trade
