Amendment No. A001 is issued to the above combined synopsis/solicitation for Maintenance of UPS Equipment. This amendment is issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only amendment of the above solicitation, proposals are being required, and a written amendment will not be issued. This amendment is issued to make corrections to the solicitation. STATEMENT OF WORK: The first sentence is revised to read: The Contractor shall provide maintenance services to include preventive and remedial on all of the listed units. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: The first sentence is revised to read: All preventive maintenance shall be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance with the Project Officer (PO) and shall be performed during the hours of 7:00 A.M. 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment before the hour and date specified in the RFP. Failure of this acknowledgement may result in rejection of your proposal. If as a result of this amendment, you desire to change a proposal already submitted, such a change may be made by a letter. The letter must refer to the RFP No. EMV-2000-RP-0019 and this amendment, and received before the opening hours and date specified. The date for receipt of proposals remain on May 17, 2000, 4:00 P.M., local time. The synopsis/solicitation EMV-2000-RP-0019 is amended as indicated above. Except as provided herein, all other terms and conditions of EMV-2000-RP-0019 remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
