R -- CANCER INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT AND DISSEMINATION SOL 2000-N-00072 DUE 071700 POC Margie Usry, Contract Specialist, Section I, (770) 488-2651, Mailstop K-18 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a base period contract with four additional one-year option periods commencing approximately September 11, 2000, to provide the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP), Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, Office of Program and Policy Information (OPPI), technical support to conduct and maintain existing information development and dissemination activities, including: inquiries response and tracking; legislative tracking and analyses; Web site design and maintenance; Web site promotion; exhibit design, maintenance and storage; full spectrum support related to selected training, events and program specific meetings; collateral materials and communication tools development (fact books, brochures, flyers, visual presentations, etc); publications promotion and fulfillment; and development of special reports as necessary or required for Congressionally mandated programs. Technical support will also be required for developing new strategies and mechanisms for disseminating program information. This is a competitive acquisition set aside for small business concerns.
