and services necessary for the Construction of Recruit Barracks
Renovations, Phase II, U. S. Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May,
NJ.. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing air
conditioning to all interior spaces and modifying existing control
systems. To accommodate the new air conditioning system, expand the
mechanical rooms and construct additional space. All work shall be
accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 70-X7001 and Drawing
No. 70-X7001 (Sheets 1 _ 82). Work not impacting the Government_s
ability to occupy James Hall (e.g. site work and new building addition)
shall commence first. Interior work in James Hall shall not begin prior
to December 1, 2000, as the Government will retain full-time occupancy
of the building until this date. The Contractor will have until May 1,
2001 to complete all work at James Hall. Work not impacting the
Government_s ability to occupy Healy Hall (e.g. site work and new
building addition) may commence any time after contract award. Interior
work in Healy Hall shall not begin prior to December 1, 2001. The
Contractor will have until May 1, 2002 to complete all work at Healy
