This is an amendment to combined synopsis/solicitation 1050-00602 which appeared in the CBD on 4/14/00. Specification #7 is revised to read as follows: "A user-friendly operator interface to control connection of both secure and non-secure devices in the fly-away package. The interface must be able to set up proper connectivity to enable transmission or receipt of faxes, data or voice calls in either secure or non-secure modes, by landline, cellular, or satellite communications links. The interface should link via internal controls to provide required system configuration, thus eliminating or minimizing the requirement for manual cabling changes. Easy to understand instructions must accompany the unit to provide information and diagrams to aid connection, operation, and troubleshooting of the system."
