Form, Fit and Function: Primary purpose of the main caution panel (MCP) is to provide visual warning indications in the form of lighted annunciators. The panel contains seven major sub-assemblies. The MCP sub-assemblies are the light assembly with 106 annunciator light assemblies and 3 pairs of plug-in modules. The annunciators illuminate to provide system status or malfunction indiation based on control input from the electrical multiplex (EMUX) system.
