Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, TX is contemplating
negotiating a sole source procurement with Innovation Data Processing,
Inc. (Innovation), for a new software license for FDR/CPK /ABR and
FATS/FATAR. Maintenance support, which is included in the first year at
no extra cost, includes providing updates and enhancements to the
software and providing reasonable technical support. Since this
procurement involves acquiring a new software product, this notice is
being issued as a sources sought for a comparable product with the same
functionality. It is contemplated that the software will be installed
on a CPU with 128 MIPS or 22 MSU's at the AAC. Respondents must clearly
demonstrate how their products compare to Innovation's products by a
side-by-side comparison of their functions. The Government must be able
to use the software at no additional cost to process data on a
fee-for-service basis and/or in a parallel sysplex environment.
Responses must be in writing and must be received within 7 calendar
days of this notice. In addition, responses must include pricing and
documentation in sufficient detail to allow evaluation of license and
maintenance fees. This includes the vendor's commercial price list, and
(if one exists) GSA contract and price list. Documentation includes the
vendor's standard commercial license agreement if the product is not
available on a GSA schedule. Pricing must state whether the software
license is perpetual or term; whether it is available on a GSA
schedule; whether it is licensed by site, by CPU (i.e., tier group,
MIPS, MSU, etc.), and/or by use (i.e., concurrent users, total users,
frequency of use, etc.). Responses received that do not include all
requested information will be considered non-responsive. NO
SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. The determination to open
competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion
of the Government, and if such determination is made, no additional
synopsis will be published. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
