Services Administration (GSA), Property Disposal Division, New England
Region, intends to acquire services for a Phase I Archaeological
Survey, Phase II Archaeological Survey, and a Determination of
Eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places for the Badger
Army Ammunition Plant in Sauk County, Wisconsin (BAAP). These cultural
studies are part of an Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan
being developed for the BAAP. The contractor shall furnish the
necessary personnel, materials, services, equipment, facilities and
otherwise do all things necessary for and incident to the performance
of the work specified in the statement of work in a manner consistent
with acceptable professional standards. Contractor shall be familiar
with all applicable statutes, regulations, guidelines and significant
judicial decisions and must comply with them in the preparation and
execution of these studies. In addition, the contractor shall be
prepared to work with and coordinate with the staff of the BAAP, the
Wisconsin Historic Preservation Division (WHPD), the Ho-Chunk Nation,
the Wisconsin Burial Sites Preservation Office and the Badger History
Group. The request for proposal contemplates a 100% Small Business
Set-Aside with the issuance of a firm fixed price contract. This
negotiated procurement will be awarded to the offeror who submitted a
technical and price proposal that is the _best value_ for the
Government. The completed reports are due no later than 150 calendar
