This announcement is a sources sought announcement, not a request for proposal or solicitation. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), on behalf of the Division of Federal Occupational Health (DFOH), is seeking to identify potential sources who can create, and be responsible for, managing a wide network of healthcare providers at fixed site locations and mobile teams that can furnish services (defined below) to Federal agencies in both urban and remote locations nationwide. Prospective offerors must be able to identify sources who can supplement FOH's existing system of over 200 health centers with a network of independent health providers to provide a variety of occupational health services to Federal agencies, which include but are not limited to: comprehensive physical exams; urine collection for drug testing; phlebotomy/laboratory services; immunizations; health screenings; dental exams and repairs; and health education and training programs. The offeror must be capable of establishing and maintaining this network of providers, ensuring all required licensure and certifications are current, monitoring quality and timeliness of services, creating and updating a database of available locations and services, establish uniform pricing, and ensure that services are documented completely and accurately on required government forms. All sources that are able to perform this work must submit their interest in writing, including a capability statement clearly illustrating their ability (knowledge, experience, resources) to respond to the work described (approximately 10 pages in length), company name, address, telephone number, FAX number, type business (large or small business, educational institution, large or small non-profit, 8(a) etc.) and point of contact. Responses are due no later than May 5, 2000 and can be mailed, e-mailed or sent by FAX. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this "sources sought" announcement. Should this market survey determine that there are organizations capable of providing such services, HRSA may release a Request for Proposal sometime in the future.
