The scope of work consists of design and constructing a Visiting Airmen's Quarters/Dining Facility, Visiting Officer's Quarters, Maintenance Hangar/Nose Dock/Apron, Expeditionary Fire/Rescue Station, Expeditionary Squadron Operations/AMU/Storage and Expeditionary Maintenance Facilities. The work will also include storm drainage, exterior electrical distribution, water distribution and sewer work. Contractors will be able to visit the Manta Air Base for a site inspection on 24 May 2000. Contractors shall meet at the front gate at the entrance to the Military side of the base at 8:00 a.m. There will be a pre-proposal conference held at the Oro Verde Hotel at 8:00 a.m. on 25 May 2000. All interested Contractors may attend. Contractors must have an English speaking representative in attendance at the pre-proposal conference. Bid documents are available on or about 12 May 2000. Estimated cost of work is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
