This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under SIC code 1711. Contractor to provide replacement of rooftop HVAC equipment, Buildings 44 & 52 at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. The contractor shall furnish all services, labor, and materials to install four complete, matching replacement roof top air-conditioning systems to include all necessary ductwork, outside manual fresh air damper, low ambient kit, adapter curb, electrical hook-up including new safety switches and thermostats. Contractor to provide any required labor/material necessary to adapt the new system units to existing site conditions and to make completely operational. Provide for disconnect/reconnect of existing system unit and steam coil heating system control wiring. Provide for removal and disposal of existing system units, related components and miscellaneous debris. Provide required warranted roofing repairs under the existing system equipment on building #52. Repairs shall be done by a licensed Gencorp applicator. Providewritten manufacturer's warranty with one year of system service. Provide complete system/component shop drawings, and complete, bound service/operating manuals and instructions for each unit type. The period of performance for this project is 60 calendar days from notice of award. Davis Bacon Wage Determination MO000002, publication date 2/11/2000 applies to this solicitation. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Required site visit for this project is 2 May 2000 at 1000 hours. Directions to site visit are as follows: Take US 50 to Whiteman Air Force Base, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Go south on state route 23 to Main WAFB gate called "Spirit Gate". Base security will direct all interested parties to the adjacent visitor center. Our site personnel will come to the visitor center at 1000 hours and direct the vendors to Building 44 and 52.
