This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F28609-00-T0186 and is being issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside. The SIC code 5012 applies. LINE ITEM 0001: TRAILER; WELLS CARGO MODEL CW122, quantity five. Trailers will include the following modifications: (1) .30 Black aluminum exterior; (2) H beam straight Torflex axle assembly, 5stud hubs and drums with 2" x10" electric brakes; (3) 1 ea. D.O.T. A Frame mounted breakaway switch, gel cell battery, and mounting bracket; (4) 3" adjustable height pintle eye coupler- top setting 29" bottom setting 19"; (5) Change electric plug to Military Specifications, (customer to supply part & wiring directions); (6) Single side door, right hand hinge, flush lock. Opening 32" wide on the curbside, starting as close to the front corner as possible; (7) 5/8" exterior grade plywood side wall liner in place of standard 1/4" plywood liner; (8) 1 ea. 30amp 120/240 volt service panel, located on the front wall at curbside corner. Start 4ft above floor w/25ft shoreline and locking cable hatch. Locate at the floor at the curbside corner; (9) 1 ea. 15amp, 110 volt duplex wall receptacle, center on the front wall at 6" off floor; (10) 4 ea. 12-volt interior lights and wall switch on front wall close to corner, 48" from floor; (11) 1 ea. Spare ST205/75R15 load range "C" tire with a 5 bolt, silver spoke wheel; (12) Spare tire mount on the exterior of front wall, (13) 6 ea. 5000lb "D" rings, loose with hardware; (14) Supply caster wheel for standard jack; (15) Bulldog 7000lb drop-leg jack installed; (16) Heavy-duty corner-post jacks in rear; (17) Heavy-duty corner-post jacks in front; (18) Weld 8 ea.
