will provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision to
provide a new emergency intercom system in the elevators of the Potter
Stewart United States Courthouse, 100 East Fifth Street, Cincinnati,
Ohio; and John Weld Peck Federal Building, 550 Main Street, Cincinnati,
Ohio. Work to be performed during normal working hours 7:00am through
5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Extent of Work: U.S. Courthouse/1)Remove
the existing intercom system from 11 elevators;2)install new ADA
compliant hands free telephones in 9 elevators using the existing call
button;3)install 2 new ADA compliant hands free telephones on the back
of a brushed stainless steel faceplate covering the existing intercom
box in the two freight elevators;4)the call button will be in the
center of the plate;5)provide 3 consolidators with UPS to route
multiple phbones to one phone line;6)provide and maintain 3 phone
lines;7)provide monthly monitoring services for the emergency phones.
Federal Building/1)remove the existing interom system from 13 elevators
and one window washer;2)install 13 new ADA compliant hands free
telephones on the back of a brushed stainless steel faceplate covering
the existing intercom box;3)the call button will be in the center of
the plate;4)provide a weather tight box phone on the window
washer;5)provide 3 consolidators to route multiple phones to one phone
line;6)provide and maintain 3 phone lines;7)provide monthly monitoring
services for the emergency phones. Special Conditions: Furnish four
bids: One for the Federal Building, One for the U.S. Courthouse, and
One each for the monthly service for each building. All materials used
shall conform to current industry standards. The current editions of
the following publications and standards are mandatory procedure for
job accomplishment: Federal, state, and local fire and elevator codes
and ordinances. All contractor personnel shall meet specific
qualifications and security clearances as required by General Services
Administration policies and regulations for Cincinnati. Descriptions
