The task will incorporate information from the ASIP, full scale testing, and depot and field level maintenance to update the FSMP that can be used for budgetary planning, force structure planning and maintenance planning. The task describes related previous efforts that are to be reviewed and assessed and evaluated. Recommendations for improvements in inspection and structural maintenance shall be made. An FSMP shall be developed for each FY until FY2030. Structural modifications and component replacements to extend the useful life or reduce life cycle costs will be included in the FSMP. Hours for performing inspections, repairs, replacements and modifications shall be assessed. The current PDM interval will be assessed and recommendation for Controlled Interval Extension Program to extend the PDM interval will be given.
