Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is seeking applicants for a personal service contract to provide security guard services for the Ft. Thompson Health Center, P.O. Box 200, Ft. Thompson, SD 57339. The security guard shall provide protective services to patients, employees, visitors and property. Work will be performed at the Fort Thompson Health Center throughout the building and grounds, including the IHS housing compound. The contractor must have at least 6 months of experience in security/police work. The position is subject to a criminal background investigation. The period of performance will from July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001 with three one-year option periods. The contractor will be required to work Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to midnight excluding federal holidays. This is a Small Business Buy-Indian Set-aside (see Notes 1 and 22).
