The Administration for Children and Families, through the Program Support Center has a requirement for a "Head Start Program National Interim Grantee". The purpose of this acquisition is to provide an on-call capability to serve as and perform the activities of a Head Start Interim Grantee in selected locations around the country when an incumbent Head Start grantee is terminated or relinquishes a grant, in order to allow for a minimum disruption of Head Start services in a community until a permanent replacement grantee is selected. It is anticipated that this acquisition would cover a 5-year time period (Base period with 4 option periods). During the period of the contract, the Contractor would not be eligible to apply for permanent sponsorship of any program for which it performed the tasks of an interim grantee.
