This project involves the construction of approximately 2,400 square meters of space. The one story facility will support care modules, training room, kitchen, storage areas, and administration office space. The project will include landscaping, playground space and playground equipment. The project includes demolition at various sites. Bids from large business firms must comply with FAR clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. Subcontracting Plan and Pre-Award information will be submitted as part of the bid. Failure to submit a Subcontracting Plan and Pre-Award Information by the closing date may result in rejection of bid. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: 61.2% with small business; 9.1% with small disadvantaged business, 5.0% with women-owned small business, 2.0% with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/Mis), and .5% with HUBZone.
