DRY WOLF PROJECT -- This procurement is a Stewardship Contract as authorized in Section 347 of the 1999 Appropriations Bill. The project is a combination of construction and service type work which will offset the timber value of the timber offered. There will be an estimated 800 MBF of commercial timber and an estimated 100 MBF of roundwood offered in addition to the following type of work: Stream improvements to include replacement of gabions with rock type structures; hazardous tree removal; seedling/sapling planting; rehab of camping sites; furnishing and installing Sweet Smelling Toilets; Furnishing and installing picinic tables; surfacing with compacted aggregate and construction of a trail and a temporary road.
