The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the design, fabrication and supply of two (2) prototype variable speed engine room ventilation systems for U.S. Coast Guard's Island Class Patrol Boats (110C WPB). The systems will blow fresh air into the compartment and exhaust stale air from the compartment as required to control the temperature in the engine room and stimultaneously supply combustion air to the engines. The Contractor shall provide the following equipment; fans, fan enclosures, pneumatically operated fire dampers, inlet fan diffuser, fan controllers, fan motors, wires and de-misters. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to San Pedro, CA and to Boston, MA. Contractor shall support installation by providing installation instructions, equipment drawings, calculation, bill of materials, operating instructions, testing procedures and shall assist in the installation and testing to validate the design and installation.
