The equipment shall consist of between two (2) and four (4) automated, or semi-automated, adhesive dispensers. Dispensers need to uniformly apply a 1 mm thick layer of adhesive in a 1" wide band around the circumference of a 6" diameter circle. System needs to interface with components (3 cylindrical configurations; all approximately 6" in diameter, less than 20" in length and weighing less than 5 lbs each) that will be held in place and rotated automatically (at a controlled pre-set speed) while a two (2) part adhesive is automatically mixed and dispensed onto the components. Adhesive dispensing system shall consist of a rotating fixture (automated), dispensing nozzle (stationary), on demand mixing and dispensing of two-part adhesive material, and a means to accurately apply a uniform layer of adhesive material. Variable control of the rotating speed and dispensing feedrate via operator interface is desirable. Estimated total cost of the project is Less than $25,000.
