This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The INS is requesting quotations on multi-purpose lights in accordance with the specifications stated below at a quantity of 2,000 each. Award is to be based upon low bid and technically acceptable to the specifications in this synopsis. All price quotations must be received by fax no later than May 1, 2000, 10:00 am (EST). Quotations should include the following: unit price along with the statement that your price quotation meets the specifications listed in RFQ No. INS-0-10003 and company information (name, address, POC, phone number, tax identification number, DUNs number and type of business (small/large etc.)). Specifications for the Multi-purpose lights are provided as follows: Color: Matte-Black, Material: Plastic, Light System 2in1 Multi-Purpose Mini-Light, Physical Description/Appearance: 7 & 3/4" Long, Columnar Style, 2.5" Round, hand held holder with double fold-out flaps, which when opened exposes a 5 & 1/4" Ultra-violet Florescent Light Bulb (Model No. F4T5-BLB) encased in a clear-translucent light blue, tinted plastic cover. Attached to the top of the 7 & 3/4" Columnar Style, hand held holder is a 1 & 1/4" Flip-up regular-style, white-bulb flashlight, also 2.5" Round. Weight: Approximately 2 lbs. without batteries. Additional Features/Requirements: Takes four "AA" batteries. Bulbs can be replaced when needed.
