Dr. Kleiman shall explore the evidence about offender behavior. Mr. Kleiman shall search direct evidence that offenders tend to have the hypothesized characteristics, or, alternatively, evidence that the psychological constructs "recklessness: and "impulsiveness", do in fact map into the behavioral economics ideas. Mr. Kleiman has worked in this area for a number of years and has extensive knowledge in this area. NIJ will benefit greatly from Mr. Kleiman knowledge and expertise in this area.
