intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Venture Team, 22398
James Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670 on an other than full and open
competitive basis for orders placed against Basic Ordering Agreement
N00019-99-G-1048 for the acquisition of supplies and services to
support the V-22 Aircraft Incident Damage Assessment Program. The
orders will be used to authorize repair of V-22 aircraft. The repairs
may include crash damaged aircraft, emergency repairs, or repairs to
aircraft that are beyond the capability of Navy Organizational Level
Maintenance. These orders encompass all activities from
inspection/assessment and estimate of repair/modification requirements
to the cost of the actual repair/modification of the aircraft. This
requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only
one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy
the agency requirements. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer,
developer and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft. Note 22
