Award is based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Scope of Work: To convert government vehicles by installing Basic Conversion Systems in order to be dual fuel capable. Please see attached Statement of Need (SON) to describe this requirement. However, the first set of vehicles must be accomplished no later than 14 July 2000. Those vehicles arelisted on the Bid Schedule (Base Year), which would be the Chevy Suburban Qty-1, Chevy C/K 2500 Qty-2 and Ford Ranger Qty-2. The scheduling for the additional vehicles in the base year are scheduled accordingly as described in the SON.
