The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Hobson and Associates for specialized training and lesson plan implementation services for the Youth Crime Gun Initiative program currently in place at ATF. The reason for this sole source acquisition is that Hobson and Associates is the originator of the Firearms Trafficking/Youth Crime Interdiction and identification of persons carrying concealed firearms. Hobson and Associates has direct knowledge, specialized experience and expertise in the field of concealed weapons with existing YCGII policy, protocol and procedures for delivery of this on site training program.
