This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DABT51-00-T-2092, and is issued as a request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 97-17. The standard industrial classification code is 7011. Description of service: Leasing/renting of 70 single occupancy hotel rooms for the period beginning 25 May 2000 and ending 28 June 2000 in support of Roving Sands 2000 Joint Military Exercise. Reservation schedule is as follows: CLIN0001 2 rooms for 25 May -14 Jun 2000; CLIN0002 30 rooms for 01 June -15 Jun 2000; CLIN0003 1 room for 03 June -17 Jun 2000; CLIN0004 1 room for 10 June -- 25 Jun 2000, CLIN0005 35 rooms for 13 June—27 June 2000, CLIN0006 1 room for 14 June -- 28 Jun 2000. Hotels shall be located no more than 10 miles from the Fort Bliss Military Installation. Hotels located outside of this area will not be considered. In addition to the sleeping area the rooms shall be equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. Offerors must bid on entire reservation schedule and all rooms. Award is anticipated on or about May 3, 2000. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Written, email, or fax requests for the solicitation will be accepted. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
