The renovation of Nosedock 6 involves replacement of crane hoists, repair and painting of exterior metal siding, painting of interior building areas, installation of mezzanine storage area, installation of new office area, demolition of exterior exhaust units, and installation of new access road between flight line and parking lot. The installation of the fire suppression system for Nosedock 6 involves installation of foam-water suppression system including foam tankage and meter devices, under-wing deluge foam-water nozzles, concrete ramps and floor trenches, new pre-engineered metal building enclosure including concrete foundation to house fire suppression equipment. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000- $1,000,000. Numbered Note 27 applies to this project -- The proposed contract is set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns.
