The Government intends to procure one (1) each Wideband Network Radio (WNR), with the associated ASPEN Waveform Software, on a sole source basis from Raytheon Systems Company. Award will be made as a modification to Research and Development contract DAAB07-98-C-D020. The radio acquired in this action must be fully interoperable with the two radios already being acquired under contract DAAB07-98-C-D020. Raytheon is the developer of this system and is the only possessor of the form, fit and function characteristics needed to ensure this interoperability.
