304/636-1875 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates awarding up to
three contracts for Sensitive Plant Surveys in Pocahontas, Randolph,
and Tucker Counties, West Virginia. The work includes survey of a total
of 10,867.9 acres in designated areas for the presence of plants that
are on the Monongahela National Forest Threatened, Endangered and
Sensitive Species (TES) list and preparation of a final report
including maps and location forms for the found species. The field work
will be completed between June 1 and August 30, 2000 with the final
report due no later than September 30, 2000. Work will begin upon award
of the contract. Quoters will be required to submit a brief technical
proposal identifying knowledge/experience, past performance, and
references for evaluation in conjunction with submitted prices. The
award decisions will be made on the basis of the Best Value to the
government. This project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
