to identify firms to provide Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services
for Official and Unofficial/Leisure Travel at Patrick AFB and Cape
Canaveral Air Force Station FL. Offerers will propose an air travel
discount fee percentage for official and unofficial travel. Official
travel is defined as travel authorized in conjunction with government
business and paid for with appropriated funds. Unofficial travel is
defined as leave, furlough, vacation, and leisure travel paid from
personal funds of the traveler for personal use. Potential must be
aware that approximately $600,000 of working capital will be needed to
carry government accounts receivable while maintaining an adequate
ticket stock supply to provide uninterrupted service. A concessionaire
type contract is contemplated with a six month basic contract period
and 2 six month options. The applicable SIC code and size standard are
4724/$1M. Firms responding to this synopsis should provide experience
in the form of an outline of previous projects for specific relevant
work completed or currently being performed including contract numbers;
professional qualifications and specific experience of personnel
identified to perform the work; and any other pertinent information
which would enable the government to assess your firm_s capabilities.
Firms must respond to this announcement within 15 days from the date of
publication and (1) state whether they are a small or large business
based on the size standard above, and (2) indicate if a small
disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically
black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI). The
government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for small
business, 8 (a) firms, or HBCUs/MIs based on the responses received.
Firms responding will be notified of the results of the capabilities
assessments. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not
commit the government to pay for the information requested, issue
