It is the intent of the Government to lease with the option to purchase one (1) each new and unused, current year model eight-(8) ton capacity boom truck. The lease will be for a period of up to twelve (12) months, and will include an option to extend the lease for up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods and an option to purchase, at current fair market value, at any time during the lease period(s). The boom shall be a three-section telescoping type boom extendible to forty-six (46) feet, capable of 360 degree work area with a maximum laod capacity of sixteen thousand (16,000) pounds, mounted on a truck cab and chassis conforming to the specifications in the solicitation. Configuration will be with the crane mounted directly behind the cab. During the lease period(s) the Government will perform all operator level maintenance as specified in the operator's manual. Any other problems or breakdowns will be reported to the contractor. If equipment is unable to be returned to service within seventy-two (72) hours, the contractor will provide an equal replacment.
