Hangar door repair for buildings #14, 24, and 40. Repairs are to include but are not limited to: Bldg. #14 has two bi-parting, six section hangar doors manufactured by Door Engineering. (1) Replace existing motors in all four main hangar door sections with Brakemotor 1.5 HP #120331; (2) Replace all the top roller assemblies of the hangar doors with new roller Door Engineering Assemblies #77020R or equal. Bldg. #24 has one bi-parting, four section hangar door manufactured by Narco. (3) Place 12-gauge HRS sheet metal, prime painted over existing wood siding on hangar doors 2 and 3. Door sections that require new metal are approximately 21' x 5'; (4) Caulk and paint new metal to match existing color scheme of hangar doors; (5) Replace roller chain in the two drive units of the hangar doors and adjust to correct tension; (6) Replace the vertical and horizontal weather seals on hangar doors with same type of industrial seal. Bldg. #40 has two bi-parting, ten section hangar doors. (7) Install adjusting screws in hangar door operating units and adjust chain tension to manufacturer's specifications; (8) Adjust pneumatic tire on southeast operator to manufacturer's specifications; (9) Replace the horizontal weather strip at the bottomof the hangar doors with new neoprene weather strip 1/8" x 4 1/2".
