This project includes furnishing materials, equipment, labor, and transportation to repair the backwall supports on a Hamilton EZ bridge steel pile substructure, rebuilding the backwalls, replacing treated planks, and replacing gabions damaged in excavating the backwalls; removing and disposing of drainage structures, digging waterbars, seeding and fertilizing; removing two 1219 mm CMP culverts and replacing with two 2050 mm by 1500 mm by 16000 mm CMPA culverts, construction of instream structures to ensure fish passage; and removing and stockpiling a 12192 mm native log stringer bridge. The work sites are located on the road system on Kuiu Island, Southeast Alaska. Instream work is subject to June 1 -- August 15 fish timing. Contract time will be 450 calendar days.
