The U.S Army, Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research,Development and Engineering Center(TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to process a modification to add new work to an existing contract with Primex Technologies, Inc. 10101 Ninth Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. The objective of this modification is to produce 60 each 120mm Slug Cartridges, M829A2. This procurement will be processed as a sole-source requirement to the aforementioned company. Pursuant to the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government, which can not be recovered through competition.
