The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to enter into a firm fixed price supply type contract with L-3 Communications Corp, Ocean Systems, 15825 Roxford Street, Sylmar, CA 91342-3597. The requirement is for upgrades to AN/AQS-13F Sonar Transducer in support of the NAVAIR H-60 Modifications Integrated Program Team. The upgrades will integrate 66 Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor kits and 132 Automatic Battery Disconnect kits into the AN/AQS-13F Sonar Transducer. These upgrades will be procured on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It is anticipated that the period of performance will be 2 years after contract award.
