The survey has been designed by SSA with analytical assistance provided by its contractor, Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. The questionnaires are currently in paper-and-pencil form, but will be converted into computer assisted instruments (CATI/CAPI) as part of this contract. The interview length is approximately 60 minutes. The Government intends to award a cost reimbursement completion type contract, period of performance from September 2000 through March 2002.
