A requirements contract is being solicited with 1 basic year and (2)one year options. BEQ for item one is 18 each per year and 20 each per year for item two. Required delivery is 30 days after receipt of reparables. Firm-fixed price contract is being contemplated. No GFE/GFM is available. Approximate solicitation issue date: 12 May 00. The Government is not required to delay contract award pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs ASAP. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR Will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards.
