The Officer in Charge requires the Contractor to provide all labor, supervisor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform, operate, maintain, repair and make alterations to HVAC equipment. The work includes the performance of service work; recurring services such as preventive maintenance, and seasonal start-up and shut-down of equipment; periodic operational checks, trouble shooting, repairs, replacement of components, and replacements of entire units. Services shall be provided on the following type of equipment: Air conditioning equipment and systems, including centrifugal chillers, screw chillers, water cooled direct expansion chillers, air cooled direct expansion chillers, package units, split systems, self contained units, pumps and cooking towers, at various locations in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth, Virginia, for the Navy Public Works Center, Norfolk, Virginia. Work will be accomplished by an Indefinite Quantity Type contract for a period not to exceed 12 months. The Government shall have the options to extend the term of the contract services for four additional periods of 12 months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)is 7623 and the standard size is $5M.
