JOINT BATTLE CENTER INDUSTRY DAY JUNE 6 -- 7 The U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Battle Center, partnered with the Hampton Roads Chapter of AFCEA, is hosting an Industry Day on June 6 -- 7, 2000 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Hampton, VA. The overarching purpose of the Joint Battle Center Industry Day is to provide the C4ISR Industry with the opportunity to see what the JBC does, what issues it is addressing and where industry could contribute. Events of the day will be varied and include: presentations on this year's projects, how the JBC selects its out-year project candidates, how the Theater Commander-in-Chiefs influence the process, and a luncheon address by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Joint Forces Command, LTG Thomas Burnett. There will also be an opportunity for organizations to exhibit products that they are interested in showcasing to the Joint Battle Center as well as hold networking exchanges in an informal environment at the Reception/Booth tour at the end of the day. Day two activities include a tour of the JointBattle Center and a demonstration of the Federated Battle Lab. The primary target audience for this event includes the C4ISR technical community as well as concerned military organizations.
